2017 Classic Car Show Ascot Racecourse

Classic Car Show

A good turnout of Buick’s arrived at the car park adjacent to the entrance, we all had time to catch up and get ready for the day ahead. Rain had been forecast but with blue sky’s it turned out just perfect with no sign of rain.

Once parked the men got to work erecting the gazebos for some extra shade for the day.

The venue was well received with a good variety of food available, although most packet their picnic lunch, flasks and soft drinks.

The live music playing was great, not too loud but very catching with a lot of the old songs and country

Music.

Our cars created a lot of interest with a steady stream of visitors also club members who didn’t have their cars on show also dropped in for a chat throughout the day.

It was great to see John and Kay Cook from Kukerin there in their 1971 Riviera
