GM Day  Celebrating 100 years of GM. Our club has regularly supported this biannual display and encourages members to attend if possible to promote the Buick name. Again the venue is Bassendean Oval. Vehicles need to be in location by 9:30am and can not be moved until 4:00pm due to insurance constraints.  The Buick Club will have a large shade shelter on the day, bring your chairs refreshments and a picnic lunch to enjoy. There is an entry fee of $10 for vehicles, with proceeds raised going to the Association for the Advancement of Brain Injured Children. Entry forms are available on the website or from Alan Hunt with further details. Closing date for entries is 10th Nov. If you wish, send your completed entry form and money to Tony Howe (Treasurer) by the end of Oct or send it direct to the organisers. Please let us know you are going so we have an idea of numbers.

Big Al’s Poker Run Last year we had about 6 cars come along to this event. While there is an entry fee which is not initially cheap, it does include the actual “Poker Run” and entry to the evenings display with live bands, Rock and Roll dancing, BBQ’s provided to cook your own tea etc. If you get a group together in your car it is cheap entertainment for a day and evening.  It is worth noting that on the Big Als website they have restricted entry to Aussie cars to pre 1978, while the American cars are not restricted.   More details closer to the event.
